The Future of Facial Recognition

FaceGPT is an AI-powered reverse image search built for faces. Upload a single photo and FaceGPT maps the facial geometry, turns it into a neural embedding and compares it against millions of public sources - social media profiles, news articles, mugshot records and other indexed pages - returning visually similar faces ranked by confidence in a few seconds.

FaceGPT is built by Humanity Founders and runs in the browser, on iPhone and on Android. It exists to put deep, accurate face matching - the kind that used to require specialist tooling - behind a single upload button.

What FaceGPT does

FaceGPT takes an uploaded image, maps the facial landmarks with a neural network and turns the result into an embedding - a description of the face as geometry rather than pixels. That embedding is compared against the index, and every visual match returns ranked by confidence with a link to the page it was found on.

Two search depths share one interface. A normal search sweeps the indexed web and answers in seconds. A Deep Search descends past it - forums, archives and unindexed sources - for the matches a normal scan cannot reach.

Built for speed, accuracy and privacy

Lightning fast

Our distributed GPU nodes ensure that your facial analysis is completed in milliseconds, giving you real-time results.

High accuracy

State-of-the-art embedding models reduce false positives while accurately detecting facial structures even in poor conditions.

Secure & private

All uploaded images are processed instantly and deleted from our active memory, maintaining the highest standard of data privacy.

Who FaceGPT is for

FaceGPT is used by people checking where their own photos have ended up online, by anyone verifying that a person they met on the internet is who they say they are, by journalists and researchers tracing an image back to its source, and by teams that need to find the public footprint attached to a face without building a recognition pipeline of their own.

No specialist knowledge is required. If you can upload a photo, you can run a search - the free tier includes two credits and no card.

How we handle your data

FaceGPT searches public sources only. Uploads are processed for the search you asked for and removed from active memory afterwards, and your search history stays in your account for you to review or clear.

Deleting is a single action, not a support ticket. From your profile you can export your data or delete your account outright, which removes your subscriptions, credit history, uploads and referral data with it. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is stored and for how long.

One account, three platforms

Your plan, your credits and your search history belong to the account, not the device - so a search you start on your phone is in your history on the web.
